Established in the year 1989, this co-educational institution (School) is working for the holistic development of children involving scholastic and non-scholastic activities. It has proud privilege of being the Alma Mater of more than thirty thousand students so far.

Education is a lifelong process. We comprehend this and try to facilitate every child to develop his/her potential and become competent to face ever changing global society. We believe in transforming children into a good human being, not a robot. We are engaged in the mission of imparting value-based education blended with technology based teaching learning process to yield an emotionally and ethically sound generation. True to its moto 'Strive for excellence' at D.A.V. Public School, Anisabad, a student is inspired to compete with others and himself. Each member of this school is committed towards providing an environment to make every student working tirelessly by identifying his/her strength. We believe in accepting challenges and mistakes. So, we work with the mutual cooperation of the parents. We pay individual attention to each child and try to find out his/her shortcomings, problems and weakness and work accordingly.

We are proud to mention that our school is one of the oldest D.A.V. Public Schools in Bihar and inspite of limited infrastructure, it has been always the demanding destination for the parents of this area and their wards. Most of its alumni are holding key posts in our country and abroad. Not only in academics, students have brought laurels in the field of sports and game, dance, music, painting and other co-curricular activities.
